Anna Fabbrini – Catholic University of Milan (Italy)

Anna Fabbrini, PhD, is a registered psychologist and psychotherapist. She teaches Clinical Psychology in the Catholic University of Milan Master’s courses in Psychology, as well as in several postgraduate training programmes in Gestalt therapy. She is a supervisor and a full trainer of the Italian Federation of Gestalt Schools and Institutes (FISIG), of which she is a founding member. She holds a PhD in Clinical Psychology from La Sorbonne – Paris VII University, and degrees in Sociology (Trento University) and Physical Education and Sport Sciences (Urbino University). She also studied at the Paris Ecole des Hautes Etudes. After serving for many years as a developmental psychologist in the public sector, she founded the “Centro Alia – Psychotherapy and Training” with Alberto Melucci in Milan in 1979. Over the years, she has coordinated and led numerous training programmes for public institutions and organizations. She has also directed a Gestalt Therapy Training Centre and a two-year course on care relationships. She has been the promoter and coordinator of many impactful research-intervention projects on behalf of the Institute for Educational Research (IRRSAE) in the Lombardia region, local authorities in Milan, Mantova and Varese, local health service units in Lombardia and Emilia Romagna, and the universities of Trento, Ferrara and Cosenza.
