Bernd Bocian, (Ph.D.), psychotherapist (PtG) and Gestalt-therapist, who was also trained in psychoanalytic therapy and Reichian body work. He was member of the editorial board of the German Journal “Gestalttherapie” (DVG) and of the Editorial Board of the Italian Journal “Quaderni di Gestalt”. He is member of the Scientific Board of “Gestalt Therapy Book Series – International Publications.” He is author of various publications on the historical and contemporary relation between gestalt therapy and psychoanalysis. Among them, “Fritz Perls in Berlin: Expressionism-Psychoanalysis-Judaism” (2010) and edited with Frank Staemmler, “Gestalt therapy and psychoanalysis” (2000/2013).
