Piero Petrini – Psychiatrist in Rome (Italy)

Pietro Petrini is a psychiatrist, neurologist, and psychoanalytical therapist. He is responsible for the Centre for Personality Disorders of the San Camillo Hospital, Department of Mental Health of the Rome “D” health service unit. He is President of the Centre for Psychiatry and Psychotherapy in Rome and Ancona, President of the Italian Society for Psychotherapy (SIPSIC), and he is on the Board of Directors of the Italian Society for the Study of Traumatic Stress (SISST).
He is the co-founder (together with Luigi Janiri) and director of the “Idee in Psicoterapia” journal, published in Italy by Alpes. He also co-directs the “Psicodinamicamente” peer-reviewed book series, published by Franco Angeli.
He is the author of several books, among which are:
