Veronika Zhemchuzhnikova is a Gestalt psychotherapist, MD.
She began her practice by working with refugees on UNHCR projects in 2000.
She is the founder and director of the Almaty Gestalt Academy and a former president (2019-2023) of PCAGS – Professional Central Asian Gestalt Society (gestalt society for therapists in Kazakhstan).
She is the director of the Almaty Gestalt Center, which provides individual and group therapy for children, adolescents, and adults.
Since 2016, she has been organizing and conducting educational programs on Gestalt therapy in Kazakhstan, focusing on working with children, adolescents, and LGBTQ+ individuals.
She is a member of the editorial board of “Gestalt in Kazakhstan” since 2012.
