on November 22, 2020, Margherita Spagnuolo Lobb has presented a lecture at the New York Institute for Gestalt Therapy, the Institute where Gestalt Therapy was founded.
She has presented on “The Concept of Field and the Practise of Reciprocity”, a lecture that has summarized her work in these last years, focused on the field with an aesthetic and phenomenological glance and on the relational “dance” between therapist and client.
She has presented a concept of field in line with the founding book by Perls, Hefferline and Goodman, and has outlined how this concept lead her to develop the method and practice of Gestalt therapy focusing on the ground experience of the contact making and on the reciprocity (the dance) of contact. The whole seminar has considered the new organism/environment balance in the actual pandemic times.
Margherita has been very happy to present in what she considers her “home” institute. Almost one hundred people attended and the atmosphere was supportive and warm.
